Des Moines, IA

We passed through Iowa on our September 2020 road trip for Andre’s birthday, but our first visit to the state was in September 2018. It happened to be part of another road trip because we are slightly obsessed with road tripping around the USA. It’s a great way for us to see a lot of different places and unique spots along the way. Now that we’ve been to every state together, seeing new cities within those states is our priority. Des Moines is a place we’d love to visit again though to spend a little more time there. They have a great downtown area, and the overlook from the capitol building is extraordinary. Hopefully we will get to visit again soon!
